Conversion Rate

Conversion rate is calculated by total number of goal hits on your site dividing by the total number of visitors (or even visits).

The conversion rate is calculated as:

Conversion Rate = Total Number of Sales /  Number of Unique Visitors*100

There are two types of conversions:

  • Micro conversion: Micro conversion can be creating an account, adding a product to the cart, subscribing an email list
  • Macro conversion: Macro conversion includes purchasing the product from the site, quote request
